The climate change numbers game

This is a tale of two numbers: 350 and 450.

On Oct. 24, a series of international events focused on one of those numbers: 350, which is 350 parts per million (ppm) of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. To avoid catastrophic climate changes, that is the level of CO2 that will be needed according to new observations on climate change.
