True Blood: This HBO series portrays the co-existence of humans, vampires, and shape-shifters in a small Southern town. The main character, Sookie Stackhouse, a mind-reading waitress at the town bar, falls in love with vampire Bill Compton. Sundays 8 p.m. on HBO.

Entourage: Vincent Chase, an up-and-coming actor, and his group live up the good life in Hollywood. The series details Vince, two childhood friends, his older, struggling-actor brother, and super-agent through the struggles and triumphs of finding movies for Vince to star in. New episodes start July 12 on HBO.

Burn Notice: Michael Weston, former U.S. spy, tries to find out who burned him without getting himself, or his family, killed. Meanwhile, Michael and former flame Fiona and pal Sam do some freelance security work to make ends meet. Thursdays 8 p.m. on USA.

So You Think You Can Dance: Dancers perform choreographed routines in different styles in hopes of winning the cash grand prize of $250,000. America votes for favorites and the bottom three perform solo routines for the judges who choose one male and one female to leave the show. Wednesdays & Thursdays 7 p.m. on Fox.

Harper's Island: A couple plans to wed on the island they grew up but a serial killer takes the guests out, one by one, leaving only a few survivors. Will the remaining few be able to survive? New episodes of this mini-series air Saturdays 8 p.m. on CBS.

The Fashion Show: Isaac Mizrachi and Kelly Rowland judge this reality competition involving contestants competing to create the best designs that correlate to a weekly theme under strict time constraints. One contestant is eliminated each episode. The winner receives a chance to sell his collection sold in retail stores and a cash prize of $125,000. Thursdays 8 p.m. on Bravo.

Mental: A new Director of Mental Health is hired at Los Angeles Wharton Memorial Hospital who stirs up drama with his unusual tactics and quirky personality. Dr. Gallagher stops at nothing to help his patients including completely disrobing on his first day which stirs up doubt among the rest of the staff as to his qualifications for the position. Wednesday 8 p.m. on Fox.

Philanthropist: This series, based on a real life billionaire, focuses on a man who is troubled by the death of his only son saves the life of a young boy while visiting Africa. This life-changing event leads him to use his fortune to help others in need. Wednesday 9 p.m. on NBC.

The Cleaner: After the birth of his daughter, a former addict dedicates his time to helping others take control of their sexual, drug, and gambling addictions sometimes illegal and undoubtedly unethical means of intervention. New episodes begin July 15 on A&E.

In Plain Sight: Mary Shannon balances her day job as a United States Marshall with the Federal Witness Protection Program protecting key witnesses and her chaotic home life with her alcoholic mother and younger sister who always seems to find herself in trouble. Sundays 9 p.m. on USA.
