The Current is the student newspaper for the University of Missouri-St. Louis. It has served as the University's student voice since 1966, just three years after UM-St. Louis opened. As one of the oldest student organizations at UM-St. Louis, The Current has become a trusted source of news, information and entertainment to the campus community for more than four decades.
The Current distributes 6,000 issues and updates it's Web site every Monday during UM-St. Louis' academic year, reaching the approximately 19,000 students, faculty members and staff at the University, as well as members of the community surrounding the campus. The Current is the student-run newspaper at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. We offer paid positions for writers, photographers, illustrators, page designers, advertising representatives and business representatives.
