Retired UM-St. Louis professor Joseph P. McKenna died on April 11, 2008, in Sun City West, Ariz., because of complications of pneumonia. He was 85. In 196, he joined UM-St. Louis as professor of economics until his retirement in 1985, ending his 35-year career in education.
